Black Hearted Brother synth-man & song-writer Nick Holton and Ex-Slowdive’s Ian McCutcheon lead out their new band HOO. Rich analogue textures and guitar drones star on free form synth experiments reverse fitted to psychedelic songs with a dusty Englishness all of its own.

HOO's debut EP 'The Mighty' Musically picking up from Black Hearted Brother’s 2013 debut - 'Stars Are Our Home’ - 'The Mighty' reaches deeper into that psychedelic take on 70's Eno meets shoe-gaze. Filling out the corners with pulsing Moog sub, theremin & Robin Bennett’s (Danny & Champions, Bennett, Wilson, Poole) flute.

Neil Halstead & his beautiful Slowdive guitar (full effects board present) , Jackie Oates the award winning folk artist both also guest.

OTHER track ‘All Day’ is another collaboration with Strange Idols guitarist Julian Mash. Lives in the Heldon/ Can parts of the HOO world.
